بی‌اعتنایی به احکام و شعایر عبادی: اتهامی علیه مایستر اکهارت

چکیده

مایستر اکهارت از عرفای نام‌آشنای مسیحی است که در معرض سوءظن مرجعیت دینی زمانش قرار گرفت و برخی از باورهایش بدعت‌آمیز خوانده شدند. مقاله حاضر به یکی از مهم‌ترین عناوین اتهامات اکهارت که عبارت است از بی‌توجهی به ارزش و اعتبار اعمال و شعایر ظاهری و نادیده گرفتن آنها و مطرح کردن تعریفی متفاوت از سنت مسیحی درباره مفاهیمی چون گناه، کفر، دعا، تقدیس خداوند، محبت به همسایه و ... می‌پردازد؛ عنوانی که از محوری‌ترین اتهامات اکهارت در فهرست پاپ و مهم‌ترین دلیل محکومیت وی بوده است. روش تحقیق بدین‌ترتیب است که ابتدا همه اتهاماتی که در عنوان کلی بی‌اعتنایی به شعایر می‌گنجند، از حکم پاپ استخراج، و در چند بند گنجانده شده‌اند. سپس با مراجعه به آثار اصلی اکهارت، بیان خود وی را در موضوعات مطرح‌شده ذکر کرده‌ایم. همچنین پاسخ‌های او به برخی اتهامات را آورده‌ایم و نهایتاً با تفکیک دینداری ظاهری از دینداری باطنی در تفکر و بیان اکهارت بدین نتیجه رسیده‌ایم که علی‌رغم نظر مخالفان، وی قصد بی‌توجهی به اعمال و ظواهر کلیسایی را نداشته، بلکه با رویکرد باطنی و درون‌نگرانه خویش باطن را بر ظاهر مقدم می‌داند و بر تأثیر و اهمیت آن در نجات و سعادت ابدی انسان تأکید می‌کند.

چکیده [English]

Meister Eckhart is one of the Christian mystics whose thoughts the Catholic Church condemned in Medieval Ages and regarded him as heretic. This article considers one of his important accusations, that is, carelessness about exterior acts and ecclesiastical rites and different definitions of concepts such as sin, infidelity, prayer, blessing of God, kindness to neighbor etc. This charge was the most important one in the Bull of Pope. The method of it is extraction of these charges from the Bull of Pope and reference to main works of Eckhart among them his Sermons, then considering his defense of them. The conclusion we have reached is that Eckhart is not subject to these charges, because his point of view is interior which puts emphasis on interior acts and their role in salvation of Human Beings.
