Despite its popularity and prevalence in most nations and cultures, sacrifice has not been the same and has undergone many changes. One of the most important changes is the replacement of human as the subject of sacrifice by animals. A human sacrifice has not been common in all cultures. According to Torah and some historical sources, human sacrifice has been practiced by the Jewish and other branches of Semitism. Some scholars suggest that this tendency of Jewish people toward human sacrifice returns back to post-Egyptian era and after accommodating in Canaan (Palestine) under the influence of Canaanites. Although the primary religion of Moses was free from this inhuman action which is somehow considered as an innovation and distortion in the religion, it can be demonstrated that a human sacrifice was deeply rooted among the Sami people. Therefore, its origin should be explored to the time of Abraham who, by God's order, attempted to sacrifice his son Ismail. After gloriously passing the Divine test, Abraham stops the deed and sacrifices a ram instead by the God's command. According to Max Weber, the replacement of human sacrifice by an animal one can be considered as a milestone in the rationalization process in the history of Abrahamic religions.}, keywords = {Rationalization,Sociology of Religion,Abrahamic Religions,Sacrifice Ritual}, title_fa = {تحول قربانی از انسان به حیوان: نقطه عطفی در روند عقلانی‌شدن}, abstract_fa = {قربانی‌کردن، از آیین‌ها و مناسک بسیار کهنی است که خاستگاه‌ اولیه آن را باید در نظام‌های اسطوره‌ای و جادوگرانه جست‌وجو کرد. این آیین با وجود عمومیت و رواج در بیشتر اقوام و ملل، یکسان نبوده و دست‌خوش تحولات فراوان شده است. یکی از مهم‌ترین تحولات، جایگزینی سوژه قربانی، یعنی قربانی‌شونده، از انسان به حیوان است. قربانیِ انسانی در برخی فرهنگ‌ها گزارش شده است. بر اساس تورات و برخی منابع تاریخی، این آیین در میان قوم یهود و سایر شاخه‌های نژاد سامی رواج گسترده‌ای داشته است. برخی محققان، رواج این آیین در قوم یهود را به دوران پس از خروج از مصر و استقرار در سرزمین کنعان و تأثیرپذیری آنها از کنعانیان مرتبط می‌دانند؛ هرچند دیانت اولیه موسی منزه از این اقدام خلاف طبیعت انسانی است و به نوعی بدعت و تحریف در آن دین به شمار می‌رود. مطالعه تورات و تاریخ دین یهود نشان می‌دهد که قربانی انسانی ریشه‌هایی عمیق‌تر در میان قوم سامی دارد و پیشینه آن را باید دست‌کم تا دوران ابراهیم ردیابی کرد. از این‌رو، ابراهیم بر اساس همین سنت و به امر خداوند اقدام به قربانی‌کردن فرزندش اسماعیل می‌کند که در نیمه راه و پس از سربلند بیرون‌آمدن از آزمون الاهی، خداوند وی را از ادامه کار منصرف و به قربانی‌کردن قوچ اشارت می‌کند. این جایگزین‌شدن حیوان به جای انسان به عنوان قربانی را می‌توان، مطابق با آرای ماکس وبر، نقطه عطفی در روند عقلانی‌شدن در تاریخ ادیان ابراهیمی دانست.}, keywords_fa = {آیین قربانی,عقلانی‌شدن,ماکس وبر,جامعه‌شناسی دین,ادیان ابراهیمی}, url = {https://adyan.urd.ac.ir/article_111536.html}, eprint = {https://adyan.urd.ac.ir/article_111536_48a7a650f891567d5e8e726509724f9e.pdf} }
