She strives to reveal the inherent gender bias embedded in the concepts, patterns, and language of Christianity, introducing it as a factor of oppression, a neglect of women's experience, and an obstacle to their human perfection. Daly seeks to raise awareness and realize the "becoming existent" of women; however, a number of thinkers have viewed this with skepticism. By raising questions about the nature and process of this awareness, they have posed the concern of whether sharing such awareness among women will be able to provoke a profound transformation in them and in society or not. This article, using a descriptive-analytical method and by examining her views in three works — *The Church and the Second Sex*, *Beyond God the Father*, and *Gyn/Ecology* — concludes that the perspectives she presented as a "universal law" lack generalizability. Furthermore, in addition to the existence of duality in some of her ideas, many feminist theologians have also criticized and challenged them. مری دیلی در آثار خود، فلسفه و الهیاتی نو، پدید می‌آورد که بر پایۀ تجربۀ خاص زنان از ایمان به خدا استوار است. او می‌کوشد جنسیت‌زدگیِ نهفته در مفاهیم، الگوها و زبان مسیحیت را آشکار سازد و آن را عامل سرکوب، نادیده‌انگاری تجربۀ زنان و مانعی در راه کمال انسانی آنان معرفی کند. دیلی در پی آگاهی‌بخشی و تحققِ «هست‌شدن» زنان است؛ با این‌حال، شماری از اندیشمندان با دیدهٔ تردید بدان نگریسته‌اند و با طرح پرسش‌هایی دربارۀ چگونگی و فرایند این آگاهی، این دغدغه را پیش نهاده‌اند که آیا اشتراک‌گذاری چنین آگاهی‌ای میان زنان، توان برانگیختن تحولی ژرف در آنان و جامعه را خواهد داشت یا نه. این مقاله با بهره‌گیری از روش توصیفی-تحلیلی و با بررسی دیدگاه‌های او در سه اثرِ کلیسا و جنس دوم، فراسوی خدای پدر، <span lang="AR-IQ" style="font-size: 16.0pt; mso-ansi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: IRlotus; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin;">و زن-بوم‌شناسی، به این نتیجه دست می‌یابد که دیدگاه‌هایی که وی به‌عنوان «قانون کلی» عرضه کرده است، قابلیت تعمیم نداشته و افزون بر وجود دوگانگی در برخی آرا، بسیاری از متألهان فمینیست نیز آن‌ها را مورد انتقاد قرار داده و به چالش کشیده‌اند.
