Believing in the mediation of relatives to achieve salvation, which is called "intercession", is one of the important components of Islamic eschatology and some other religions, including Buddhism (Mahayana branch). However, due to the obvious differences in the intellectual foundations, the principle of the category of salvation, the attributes of the mediator (intercessor/Bodhisattva), the conditions for the realization of mediation are different between these two schools. This research has been conducted with the aim of evaluating and comparing the category of "intercession" in Islam and "Bodhisattvahgi" in the Mahayana school with a descriptive-analytical method, and while explaining the views of the two schools mentioned in this regard, it has listed their commonalities and differences. In explaining the Islamic point of view, the use of the teachings of Shahid Motahari and Allameh Tabatabai is emphasized. The main result of the research is that salvation through Bodhisattvahgi is the main way of salvation in Mahayana, but that intercession in Islam plays a complementary role in salvation and the main role in salvation is one's own faith and righteous deeds.
