Prayer is the most pervasive way of the communication between the man and God. This important tradition in Judaism is one of the basic principles in this religion. Studying it in Abrahamic religions is an introduction to understanding its different impacts on the lives of believers and faith community. The origin and roots of Jewish prayer legislation are "victims" being the great ritual in Judaism and it is mentioned in Hebrew Bible on various occasions. The prayer was organized by Rabbi and efforts of the Great Assembly when the Solomon temple was destroyed. This was an admirable effort in that age. The current paper investigates the content and legislation of prayer, its introductions and main elements.
Addressing the common issues relating to Abrahamic religions including prayer is significant. Prayer is assumed as a bridge in faith communities which is obligatory for its followers at different times in day and night. The author suggests that praying is the fundamental solution for sympathy in the believers and it is suitable context for inter-religion dialogue against the heresy and atheism.
